YART wins the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2026

A perfect start to the new season: the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team wins the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2026, celebrating another milestone in the team’s history. After previous victories in 2009 and 2025, YART now secures its third overall win at the legendary endurance classic. 🏆

With a strong and focused performance over the full race distance, Marvin Fritz, Karel Hanika, and Leandro Mercado delivered a nearly flawless ride aboard the #7 Yamaha R1. Despite changing track conditions, multiple safety-car phases and intense battles throughout the night, the team maintained consistency, speed and strategic precision.

In the decisive hours of the race, YART moved into the lead and controlled the final stages with confidence, crossing the finish line with a five-lap advantage over the competition.

With this victory, YART also takes the lead in the 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship, underlining its role as defending world champion in impressive style.
